The merlot grapes found in this vintage are special to winery Frog's Leap: they're picked from the estate surrounding the name's historic red barn. Surprisingly, this bottle also holds the character of 4% cabernet sauvignon, a refined choice that only adds to the complex dimensions of the palate. Fruity and balanced with plums, cherries, it's one that be enjoyed straight away though we advise adding a few bottles to the cellar so you can see how the vintage develops.
