Mount Difficulty Wine
The Mt Difficulty estate is situated in Bannockburn, Central Otago, the only place in New Zealand with a 'continental' style climate thanks to Mount Difficulty blocking the rain. A perfect place to grow Pinot Noir. The label Mt Difficulty came to life in the early 1990s, when five vineyard owners decided to work together. They then created the Mt difficulty company in 2004. Today they have 40 hectares of vines where they grow Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Riesling.
