This premium Chilean wine is made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, and Syrah grapes. It’s named after the treacherous waters around Cape Horn, which are known for their intense winds and currents, a reference to the passionate character of this punchy red.
The grapes for this wine are carefully selected from the best vineyards in the Maipo Valley and Colchagua Valley. They are hand-harvested and undergo a long maceration period to extract the maximum flavor and tannins. The young wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 18 months followed by a further 12 months of bottle aging for additional polish and complexity.
