Named in honour of the galvanised shed where d'Arenberg's reds are vinified, this wine doffs its cap to Bordeaux's 'garagists', or small independent winemakers. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and a little Cabernet Franc, made on a small scale using traditional methods, this meaty and muscular red displays plenty of New World fruit and power with Old World structure and complexity. Dark plum, blackcurrant and cherry fruit are overlayed with boxy cedar notes and touches of herb.
