Tucked away in the rolling hills of McLaren Vale, Blewitt Springs is like the cool, laid-back cousin of Australia’s wine regions, quietly producing some of the country’s most impressive Shiraz without making a big fuss about it. More than one person makes $100 bottles of wine from this vineyard site. Light touch in the winery and barrel shed, aiming for a vibrant, bright style of shiraz, and we think we’ve managed that. A really nice wine, right in its drinking window.
