There are pockets of Shiraz from the plains in the south of Spain, made from concentrated fruit of gnarled old bush vines, that provide a lot of wine for the money. Suela Shiraz is exactly that. The deep purple colour in the glass prepares the senses for the dense black fruit and pepper on the palate. The finish is firm and long with imposing but ripe tannins that love being paired with richly flavoured foods.
