Gruner Veltliner is a grape variety, which is a rising star from Austria, and produces some fabulous, crisp, dry, but very aromatic and spicy white wines, which are superbly versatile and great with food – this is delicious – full of lively, fresh, peach and nectarine aromas and flavours, with a hint of pepper and twist of spice, yet vibrantly dry – try it with spicy noodle salads, prawn or fish curries, and also mildly spiced chicken dishes.
