Colour: Good concentration. Intense colour, red and violet reflections. Nose: Intense Aroma of wild berries, with strong dominance of ripe red fruit. It also features live, fresh and floral notes in the nose. Palate: Excellent structure and concentration ok tannins which provide a good ageing potential. Through intense and steady as much freshness, the tannins are silky and elegant. Nice balance between ripe fruit (berries). Good integration between wood and wine. Food Pairing: Good harmony with red meat, or traditional Portuguese sausages. Previous decanting will benefit the tasting. It drinks well young but can be matured for up to 15 years. 80% Touriga Nacional, 20% Tinta Roriz. Grapes harvested in the 2nd week of September in 10 days and with a perfect phenolic maturity. Transport of the vineyard for the modern wine-making Center in small containers of 20 Kg. Fermentation was made in small temperature controlled stainless steel tanks.
