To the eye, the wine is a deep ruby with noticeable sparkles. On the nose, small red fruits dominate, particularly raspberries and sour cherries. On the palate, the concentration of this 1er Cru is evident from the first sip. It is full bodies, but possesses the silky tannins for which the appellation is known. A long persistence comes from the subtle minerality which supports the wine and gives it a remarkable complexity.
Its profile and finesse allow this wine to go well with tasty fowl such as coq au vin, partridge or woodcock.
