Mucho Mas Gold is the top wine of the range, utilising a blend of Tempranillo grapes grown in different regions around Northern Spain. This allows them to blend precisely, highlighting distinct features from a variety of terroirs to bring balance, flavour and finesse. It is then aged in American oak adding complexity, smoothness and structure.
The wine itself is an intense treat, with red cherry, blackcurrant and other ripe fruits making a powerful start. Toast and vanilla notes come from the oak ageing, whilst a pleasant sensation of sweetness pervades the wine throughout, with a warming, spicy finish. Tannins are relatively rich, but wonderfully smooth, making this a very easy drinking wine with great structure and food pairing abilities.
