Mucho Mas Extra Dry Sparkling Tasting Notes by Wine Expert, David Andrews, DipWSET
The Mucho Mas sparkling white is a combination of Spain's refreshing Viura grape variety, with the classic sparkling Chardonnay component. The Chardonnay is partially fermented in new French and American oak barrels, and the wine spends 6-12 weeks on its lees, imparting a delicious toasty and gentle autolytic note (as found in Champagnes).
Expect a burst of ripe citrus and stone fruits, lifted by subtle vanilla and Champagne-like brioche flavours as your main tasting notes. The body is relatively light and elegant, thanks to the well balanced acidity, giving it a very refreshing feel. Finally, it ends with a nice creamy mousse, adding a lovely rich finish.
