After breathing, we find hints of mocha, black pepper and vanilla. The attack is powerful, with a good body and structured yet delicate tannins. The mid-palate reveals flavours of blackcurrant and mocha. And the finish is marked by elegant tannins and a wealth of jammy black fruit flavours enhanced by a touch of violet. This attractively-priced Margaux will be a great choice to pair with roasted guinea fowl with chanterelle mushrooms.
