Lompoc Pinot Noir is produced by some of California`s foremost Pinot Noir winemakers from carefully selected, bought-in fruit. Far less expensive than many of their other wines, it is outstanding value.Superb concentration; red and black cherry flavours with a savoury tinge; long, complex finish. The Lompoc team are also reponsible for Domaine de la Cote and Sandhi Wines, and that class shines through. Made mainly with fruit from two of Santa Rita Hills` best vineyards (Sandford & Benedict and Bent Rock). Delicious to drink on release but certainly good enough to improve over 5+ years.
