Grenache Noir is one of the great noble grape varieties. It is an essential component in the best red wines from the southern Rhône, yet when harvested a little earlier and treated with a light touch it the winery, it can make wonderfully fresh, red berry-laden rosés that are a joy to drink all year round. This is a great example and should be served nice and chilled with spicy nibbles or a main course inspired by the aromatic dishes of Thailand and Vietnam.
