"Deep garnet polished rosewood colour with a coppery rim. The nose is bittersweet, with roasting coffee and walnuts, figs, prunes and crystallised citrus rinds, with a beguiling hint of seaweed and star anis. The balance of ripe sweet richness and bittersweet flavours is sublime. The elegance is pure and the concentration perfect. Excellent lingering aftertaste."
