Wine Domäne Wachau - The sudden mountain of Domäne Wachau is right behind the baroque cellar of this domaine. The vineyards are located on a primitive rocky soil consisting of 90% feldspar and quartz. The location known as Kellerberg produces strong wines, but always with a fine minerality Harvesting is only possible by hand, due to the steep terraces and the quality of the soil, the grapes are harvested in several stages in a selection. The wine will be fermented in stainless steel vats and large wooden barrels. The wine will be matured in barrels that add complexity and strength.
