Fellow Royal Warrant holder Camel Valley, a Fortnum’s partner since 2008, is one of England’s most celebrated wine estates. Overlooking the Camel Estuary in north Cornwall, it was founded by former RAF pilot Bob Lindo and his wife Annie in 1989 and is today managed by their son Sam. Defined by their freshness, precision and coastal purity, Camel Valley’s wines have helped shape England’s reputation for quality winemaking. Made exclusively for Fortnum’s, this crisp white blend of Bacchus, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay captures its unmistakable coastal character. Delicate notes of meadowsweet and elderflower mingle with bright citrus and a gentle kiss of sea spray. It is an ideal match for local seafood. The label was hand-drawn by Cornish artist Jasmine Hortop at Cadgwith Bay in Cornwall.
