Wine Dominio de Pingus - Pingus is the nickname given to Peter Sisseck, oenologist and founder of the winery, which he created in 1995. By chance his path crossed with that of Robert Parker in Bordeaux Robert Parker tried his wines and fell completely under their spell. In love with the terroir of the Castille region, he uses vines over 80 years old to take the region's top variety, Tempranillo, to another level. Produced in a tiny crop and meticulously sorted, the grapes are macerated and ferment for 20 days before being placed in barrels to undergo malolactic fermentation.
