Riccardo Cotarella is one of Italy’s most renowned winemaking consultants. Together with his brother Renzo (general manager of Antinori), they own Falesco, an estate that straddles Umbria and Latium, and shows an innovative approach to local and international varieties alike. At their recently purchased Marciliano estate they have planted an experimental vineyard in conjunction with Tuscia University in Viterbo, with 32
