The name of "Punta de Flechas" or "the spike of the arrows" refers to the 5 arrows, emblem of the Rothschild family (symbolising the 5 brothers at the origin of this dynasty of entrepreneurs). This wine was made from a selection of the Malbec grape varietal, in the heart of the "Flechas de los Andes" vineyard. Installed at the foothills of the Andes, at 1100m above sea level, the so-named winery was born from the partnership between Baron Benjamin de Rothschild and Mr Laurent Dassault, and their common will to produce an Argentinean wine of excellence.
