Wine DOMAINE BAUDOUIN - Idealist for some, troublemaker for others, Patrick Baudouin leaves no lover of Anjou wines indifferent. An ardent defender of great natural sweet wines in the 1990s, the former bookseller decided with other winegrowers to found the Syndicat des Antisucreurs on the principle that wine should only be based on grapes. This is what gives the Coteaux du Layon 1896 all its splendour. On the nose, mineral and refreshing notes make us salivate. On the palate, both powerful and fresh, giving a long, intense and salty finish. A sweet white wine of character, smooth and light, making all the difference in its category.
