Château L'Eglise-Clinet is one of Pomerol's finest estates. It is extremely well-situated, in the heart of the appellation, and benefited greatly from the investment and dedication of the late Denis Durantou, and is now run by his two daughters. The wine is fabulous: showing exceptional intensity and purity when young, with a sophistication to the tannins. Over time, it develops layer upon layer of gorgeously mature complexity.
