Château Haut-Gastineau Bordeaux Rouge is made from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes which are grown on clay and sandy soils in the commune of Saint Andre de Cubzac using environmentally friendly methods. They are vinified traditionally and remain unoaked, giving this wine a youthful intensity. It seduces with its bright, cherry ruby colour and is distinguished by its delicate notes of fresh fruit (blackcurrant, redcurrant, and raspberry). The supple and elegant palate is supported by a balanced tannic structure. It is a beautifully ripe, modern Bordeaux, designed to suit most dishes and all occasions.
