Mâcon-Serrières is perhaps unique in Burgundy, outside of Beaujolais, because to carry the appellation, red wines must be made from Gamay. From a small parcel of 55+ year old vines and fermented in the traditional Burgundian style. Bright and fruit forward offering lots of berry flavors and a kiss of pepper.
An ideal wine to serve with a slight chill on it and paired with charcuterie and cheese.
