The 2020 vintage is particularly marked by a warm climate. The winter is mild, with little rain, accompanied by abnormally hot temperatures. Budburst is early. Spring, hot and humid, favors active growth. Conversely, the summer is dry and very hot, slowing down the ripening of the grapes. Happily, we receive a succession of small stormy rains in mid-August which restart the ripening of the grapes. AT harvest, the berries are beautiful, very healthy, and have a remarkable organoleptic quality. The wines are rich, aromatic, and precise. The vintage is generous and intense. A delicious wine. The nose is delicate, marked by aromas of pink grapefruit wrapped in white fruits from Semillon. Fleshy, bursting with freshness, underlined by a beautiful minerality. This duality between the fresh crystalline Sauvignon Blanc and the enveloping roundness of Semillon offers a wine of great balance.
