Carignan used to take a backseat in blends within the south of France - but here it is quite rightly front and centre stage! Boris Kovac has some very special old vines on his estate, and the older they get the more concentrated and scarce the fruit becomes. This translates into a top bottle of wine with pronounced aromas of red berries and toasty vanilla. In the mouth it's full bodied with fine tannins and a superbly long finish.
