75cl / 12% - This small grower in Champagne has vineyards spread over seven hectares in 10 villages in the Marne which they work sustainably. The vineyards and cellars was passed from father to son and they have been producing Champagne since 1933. This is an intense, savoury wine with notes of baked brioche, crème caramel and a hint of shitake mushroom. The palate has a lovely weight to it with a good lovely long finish. Try this with roasted game or a mushroom risotto.
