This is a vintage port with a superb pedigree, with rich and silky with flavours of sweet, dark fruits. First discovered in a series of blind tastings at the Niepoort Estate – our port provider for several years – it stood out immediately thanks to its vivid, fresh intense nose and its lovely, spicy structure. Please note this bottle is from the 2011 vintage, with over 10 years of bottle age, so there may be a natural deterioration of cork over the years. Hence it will need decanting, preferably with a muslin, to filter out any sediment and dry cork.
