Wine Bodegas Vega Sicilia - The Tempranillo used to make this iconic cuvée comes from selected vineyards covering 92 hectares. Fermented in wooden vats and matured in 4,000-litre barrels (50% new wood) for 16 months, it is then kept in bottle for three years before being released on the market. This is a wine with density and freshness. A complex nose with spices, cedar, fresh blackberries, red plums, truffles and hints of walnut and mocha. Medium to full-bodied, textured and elegant. Elegant but with great depth. Give it a few years before drinking.
