Hand picked and fermented in open top fermenters, the wine was then matured in new and one year old French oak casks (2700L) for 16 months prior to bottling in late May 2012. Bright purple in colour. Fresh savoury spice and lifted red berriy nose with a subtle oak lift. The palate is medium bodied showing soft sweet fruits. The oak enhancing the mid palate which is extended by the fine clean acid structure. A seamless, creamy textured wine in complete balance.
