Tasting note This fortified Pedro Ximénez was made from grapes grown specifically by a number of traditional Barossa grape growers. The grapes were then crushed, and, after maceration for four days, were fortified with brandy spirit, pressed and matured in French oak hogsheads. A blend of several vintages, this luscious amber liquid has an attractive marmalade and citrus peel character, with a rich and intense flavour and slight spicy edge. Food pairing note This sweet wine is perfect with rich sweet desserts like sticky toffee pudding.
