Tuffers' Tipples are all selected by Phil himself, with the assistance of our Head Wine Buyer, Andrew Baker. This Tempranillo from Tierra de Castilla, central Spain, has spent up to 6 months in new and second fill American oak. Each 225 litre barrel is individually selected, and only the best barrels are chosen. This time spent in oak delivers a natural sweetness and complexity to the wine. These barrels also soften the Tempranillo - so you have a beautifully rounded, approachable and easy drinking red in your glass.
