The blend consists of 60% Semillon and 40% Chardonnay. Both varieties were harvested in early February at ideal maturity for this style of wine. The grapes were de-stemmed and crushed, the must chilled and gently pressed. The cloudy juice was cold settled, racked and the clear juice fermented at a cool temperature. The wines were blended and kept cold until bottling so as to retain their freshness. This blend has resulted in a fresh fragrant lighter style showing attractive aromas of straw and tropical fruits. The palate is light and soft making the wine very easy drinking. Serve chilled. A wine to drink young and fresh with Asian food especially Thai & Malaysian dishes. Also try with chicken salad or chicken casseroles.
