As most people know, Cab is king in the Napa Valley and this wine is a shining example of why. Grown on their eastern facing hillside vineyards with day long sun exposure, and picked before the 2020 fires broke out, the grapes develop rich, bold dark fruit flavors and well integrated soft tannins that hint at the dusty, volcanic soils on their ranch. The aromas elicit the blackberry, and dark cherry with a subtle undertone of hazelnut and vanilla. 2020 is a stand out vintage and will drink well now or through 2032 and beyond. This gorgeous wine is savory, refreshing, and structured with fine tannins.
