This wine is already five years old, but it is easily clinging onto a youthfulness of fruit that is properly captivating. There's still a juiciness to the red and black fruited theme. Red currants, cranberries and blackberries keep building before it all softens out with soft sweet liquorice and just a hint of salted caramel. The finish is exceptionally long with a delicate pepperiness that adds just a touch of bite to the natural elegance. A wine with serious presence.
