Taylor’s is known for its vintage ports, and it spent 10 years maturing this vintage in seasoned oak casks. The wine gradually takes on its characteristic amber “tawny” colour, and all the flavours that come with it. For this particular expression, on the nose we’re getting rich aromas of ripe berry fruit with a nuttiness and mellow notes of chocolate, butterscotch and fine oak wood.
