70cl / 51.5% / Douglas Laing - A 1999 Speyside single malt from indie bottler Douglas Laing, matured in a single refill hogshead for 21 years, before being bottled in March 2020 as part of its Old Particular range. Aromas of ginger, ripe plums, cedarwood and red grapes fill the nose. The palate offers notes of almond croissants, bread and butter pudding and chocolate, with hints of vanilla, citrus and ginger lingering in the finish.
