100% old-vine Cabernet Sauvignon from a single vineyard site in Alto Jahuel in Chile's Maipo Valley, Casa Real is named in honour of the noble house of Santa Rita's founding family. Hand-selected and sorted grapes undergo 12 days' fermentation and 10 days' extended maceration, producing a wine with immense body and weight of tannins. Maturation takes place in 95%-new medium-toast French oak barrels.
