Porter’s Modern Classic is a classic London dry gin that is exceptionally well balanced, this juniper-led gin has a clean, smooth citrus profile that is perfect for long drinks and refreshing highballs. With a passion for creating great drinks, the guys of Porters gin turned the basement of their bar in Aberdeen into one of the UK’s most innovative micro-distilleries. The gin is named after Professor Andrew Porter from Aberdeen University who sourced the team's rotary evaporator, used to cold distill some of the more delicate botanicals including citrus under vacuum whilst others go into a traditional copper pot still. The team built their own vacuum still, which distils botanicals at low temperatures, retaining their fresh and natural properties.
