The 2006 Ondarre Reserva is a blend of 75% Tempranillo, 10% Garnacha and 15% Mazuelo aged for 16 months in American and French oak. It has a light, crisp, Medoc-like bouquet with crunchy red, brambly fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a salty tang on the entry. There is fine structure here: chunky in texture with spicy cranberry, red currant and leather towards the finish. It has great volume. Drink 2013-2018
