Mucho Mas Blanco Tasting Notes by Wine Expert, David Andrews, DipWSET
The Mucho Mas white wine is a super fresh blend of Verdejo, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, which work in tandem to create a wine that is simultaneously refreshing, flavoursome and with good body. After fermentation, each grape is left on its lees for 2-3 months to help develop more complex flavours, whilst the Chardonnay is put into French oak for a further 3 months to help it take on some oaky character. The result is divine.
Thanks to the artful winemaking, it is complex and subtle with an array of flavours across the fruit spectrum. From peach and apricot, to lemon and lime, to green apple and gooseberry and more, the fruits are more than enough. But that's not all. The lees and oak use give the wine a moreish affinity, bringing vanilla into the mix alongside a rich, textured body. Yet, the wine is still fresh as ever thanks to excellent acidity balance. This is bound to become a new favourite white.
