We always enjoyed dad's home made sloe gin, but he doesn't make it any more. 16 Acres sloe gin is the closest we've tasted to dad's, made from just frosted berries to crack the skin and lightly punctured with a tiny fork to release the essential oils. Just a little sugar added at a time to the infusion for over 6 months for the satisfying dryness and pungent taste of a great sloe gin - just like 16 Acres.
