70cl / 54.9% - Michter’s distillery originated in Pennsylvania, the early heartland of American rye whiskey, but sadly went through a decline in the 20th century and shut its doors for good in 1989. Good news though, the well-respected brand was given a new lease on life and is now made in Kentucky. This single barrel rye is a great example of the fruity and spicy style of old, with its notes of linseed oil, cinnamon, dried cherries and almond. This is an ideal rye for your next Manhattan.
