I absolutely adore this wine, having a bit of a sweet tooth. Most of my friends find it far too sweet, but it suits me perfectly.

A most enjoyable smooth sweet red wine .
I have not found any recently.
When I do so I will buy at least 10 bottle to stock up.
If I could only have one wine this would be my first choice.

Sweet port-like wine, very well suited to hot meat or pasta dishes. Mixes well with other red wines (such as merlot or cabernet) if it's too sweet on its own.

This is a sweet fruity wine, half-way to port. It's almost too sweet to drink on its own, but mixes very well with other reds, such as merlot. Excellent value for money, recalling happy days on holiday in Greece.

Mavrodaphne is a delicious sweet table wine, more than half-way to being a port. It is almost too sweet to be drunk on its own, but makes a lovely blend with cheaper red wine, e.g. merlot or cabernet sauvignon. Drinking it reminds me of happy holidays in Greece.

I love this wine. Not an expert, but I know what I like and oh yes, I do like this wine!
It has a lovely smooth sweet taste that has hints of things like coffee, chocolate, figs, dates, raisins and more! It does n't get 'hot' at the end either!. It is a very complex wine for the price!
And a special surprise is it is even more lovely (if that's even possible) chilled!
You must like sweet wines, and if you don't, this one isn't for you, which is fine because that's all the more for me! LOL
