An obsession with quality has been the hallmark of Macallan since its founding by Alexander Reid on a plateau above the river spey in North – East Scotland. One of the first distillers in Scotland to be legally licensed, Macallan has since built a reputation as one of the worlds leading single malt distributors. Drawing on the vital contributing influences of Spain, North America and Scotland - and of their respective natural raw materials, Macallan combines traditional methods and expert craftsmanship. Distilled from barley grown on Macallan's very own Easter Elchies estate, this single malt delivers warming notes of wood spice and orange oil on the nose, opening into dried fruits with a sweet lemon, banana and caramel finish. The palate offers notes of warm spice, dry oak and fresh figs, developing into sweet orange and delicate citrus. 43% ABV Please note that it is an offence to purchase or attempt to purchase alcoholic liquor if you are under the age of 18.
