The Sangiovese grape is most well-known for its Italian heritage. Yet, at the family-owned winery Loom, they have expertly given this grape a new lease of life down under. In the McLaren Vale region, this grape is exposed to a familiar Mediterranean climate making it right at home in this country. The Loom SV range represents the "purest and most expressive individual vineyards" and this wine does not disappoint. With its fruity flavours and dusty, chalky tannins, it proves that Aussie wines are just as expressive as the traditional regions.
