Wine Château de Hauterive - The H 2022 wine from Château de Hauterive is a blend of 30% Merlot along with Malbec. The 25-year-old vines grow on clay-siliceous and limestone soil, giving the wine a lovely mineral note. Its beautiful colour has purplish reflections, the nose is expressive and opens up with aromas of small red fruit, redcurrants and blackcurrants with a gentle hint of spice. On the palate, the attack is clean, the fruit is highlighted bu the velvety tannin and the structure is full-bodied, retaining a great freshness right to the long, delicate finish. This wine is delicious and enjoyable - pure and simple!
