The Kapcsandy Family Winery is a relative newcomer in Napa but has garnered a remarkable reputation for producing exceptionally high-quality Bordeaux blends from their State Lane Vineyard in Yountville. The Grand Vin is the pinnacle of their production and is produced from the highest quality blocks and from the best barrel lots. The 2014 is a beguiling blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot with terrific intensity, sumptuous texture and impeccable balance. Whilst attractive in its immediacy, there is the potential for great evolution in the cellar.
