This single vineyard Spätburgunder has a unique story to tell. Over hundreds of years, the border between Alsace and Pfalz has changed dramatically, with the land yoyoing between French and German control. Today this vineyard staddles both countries - although it is officially classed as a German red. You might even say that it is the best of both worlds, with an almost Burgundian finesse and German weight.
