Henschke are one of the best producers in South Eastern Australia and their Hill of Grace battles it out with the mighty Penfolds Grange for Australia’s most profound wine (although of varying styles!). Organic and Bio-dynamic their Riesling comes from vines in the Eden Valley which date back to the 1960s and is named after one of their ancestors Julius Henschke who was a highly talented artist.
"The more serious of the Henschke Eden Valley rieslings, this has a super flinty, refined nose with lemon peel, yellow grapefruit and white nectarine. So ripe and so fresh. The palate has very supple and fleshy texture with concentrated, ripe lemon and peach flavors. Very fleshy feel and great acidity here, too. Strong vintage. Drink or hold." 96 pts, James Suckling
